Never far from controversy, the turbulent Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif relationship, is in the news again. In an interview to Marathi newspaper Saamna, scriptwriter Salim Khan has said that in his family, religion was not a bar. He has cited the example of his marriage to Helen. But the trouble stemmed from the statement that follows.

Salim Khan disclosed in his write-up printed in ‘Saamna’ that the two stars are married now. ‘Religion is not a bar for family’, he added.

As soon as the news was taken up by the other media, editor of ‘Saamna’ apologized saying the news was printed by mistake.

The grapevine suggested that the two of them separated as Kat preferred her career over love. Katrina was also reportedly annoyed of Salman’s affection for her ‘look alikes’
