Salman Khan was trying his best to ensure that his film ‘Veer’ got finished before ‘Wanted’. The actor was banking on ‘Veer’, directed by Anil Sharma, to resurrect his career. His producer Boney Kapoor was reduced to running from pillar to post to extract dates from the superstar for his ‘Wanted’.

Salman going out of the way to promote ‘Wanted’. The film which has been directed by Prabhudeva and is a remake of the Telugu movie called ‘Pokhri’, is now being pushed and marketed in a big way by the Khan. The film is said to have been very stylishly shot and has some very good action sequences and dance numbers. In fact, Salman recently watched the film and has been quite bowled over by the film. In fact, the actor has now made himself totally available to the producer for every kind of publicity and is even willing to travel the country on his own expense for the movie.

Salman confident and assured of its success, that he has asked Boney to quickly make another film with him, no matter what the subject ,story and or script. Incidentally, ‘Wanted’ is all set to release in a couple of weeks times. The film stars Salman opposite Ayesha Takia. Even though Prabhudeva is the film’s director, he has not choreographed the film’s songs, except for one, which has been shot on a large scale at Salman’s request. Actors Anil Kapoor and Govinda will be joining Salman in the said song.

Salman Khan will star as an angry young man in his forthcoming flick, Wanted. The movie will hit screens on August 7. Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia stars opposite Sallubhai in Wanted, which is a remake of Tamil blockbuster Pokhiri. Prabhudeva is director of the movie which has been produced under the banner of Boney Kapoor Productions.

The action-packed romantic movie has been delayed since 2008 and will feature performers like Om Puri, Mahesh Manjrekar, Asseem Merchant and Sayaji Shinde. Sajid Wajid has composed music for the film. The movie contains action-packed scenes with Salman Khan playing the role of a daredevil police officer.

The police officer infiltrates a mafia group and works as an aide to destory the entire mafia empire. Ayesha Takia supports Salman in his mission to destroy the mafia gang.

Salman Khan has given away enough paintings. His creations hang from the walls of his friends, family, producers and leading ladies. Now, the actor wants to put his creations for better use. He wants to have an auction to fund his charity organisation, Being Human.

With several of his paintings stocked up in his Bandra hub and Panvel farmhouse, Salman is selecting the paintings for auction. News has it that Salman is keen to hold the auction and is chalking out the details for the same.

Talking to a news daily, “Salman has accumulated quite a number of his paintings. He`s also gifted them to his industry friends like Aamir Khan, Boney Kapoor, Asin and others. However, he still has a huge collection and he wants to use them to raise money for Being Human. Salman has been asking around for the best way and place to hold the auction.”
