Salman Khan’s 10 Ka Dum has truly turned out to be more popular in its second season. It is a never before achieved feat by any big Bollywood star till date on Indian television, and for this, the show has been aptly gifted with a special extension.
It is learnt that Salman has been told to shoot for 13 more episodes, which will be divided across 13 more weeks, naturally.

Sony Entertainment Television has got a new resuscitation of sorts with this reality game show, with their other shows flagging in popularity. They were surprised to see huge demand and especially for the recently shown non-celebrity episodes.
However, the unanimous opinion by one and all is that- its Salman’s charisma that is winning the hearts of the participants and the audiences alike.

In his show 10 Ka Dum with Kangana Ranaut and and renowned face reader Janardhan Baba, Salman said “Is baat ki kya guarantee hai ki meri shaadi abhi tak hui nahin hai”(what is the guarantee that I am not not married as yet).

Janardhan Baba was reading his face and had predicted that Salman will soon settle down in life but Salman’s fitting reply not only surprised Kangana Ranaut but the audience started screaming upon hearing it. Well it’s anybody’s guess if the hottest hunk in Bollywood is still not married or there is something fishy about the issue.

Salman Khan has patched up with Aditya Chopra and will be soon signing his first movie with Yash Raj Films. This after Salman and Aditya were not in talking terms since Salman had rejected Chak De! India. Well now the truth is out and it is none other than Aditya’s lady love and Salman’s friend Rani Mukherjee who is behind the high profile patch up.

News has it that that the father–son duo will be making their appearance for the first time on any TV show.

Farah Khan Shahrukh ’s closest friend will soon be seen on his arch enemy Salman’s show 10 Ka Dum alongwith her Om Shanti Om leading lady Deepika Padukone. Farah has always drawn a very clear line between her friends and her work. She doesn’t let one aspect affect the other.

Farah is appearing on the show for a cause, “I hope to win a certain amount of money. I am a member of the board of trustees of the NGO Sneha. They work for the education of slum children, empowerment of women living in slums, teach them about health, making them self-reliant in the process, through various self-employment techniques.”

All seems to be well between Deepika and Farah now. Last year, she was upset with Deepika for not keeping in touch after OSO.

Celebrity guests continue to appear on ‘10 Ka Dum’ Season 2.

This week sexy actress Mallika Sherawat and fellow Haryanvi, Vijender Singh, the Olympian boxing champion, will be seen on the game show.

The cheery on the cake was when Mallika revealed that she takes cooking classes and offered to cook a meal for both the men.That’s when Sallu quickly rolled up his sleeves and got into action.With a rolling pin, he rolled out a neat chapatti while Mallika struggled to get hers right. Even Viju joined in but ended up making Sallu’s roti look like a boxing shorts!

“While playing the game, Malika addressed that she is single and also wanted Sallu. Though he refused saying no directly to the sultry actress,” According to Source.

Alongside Vijendra was just looking out for a chance to propose Malika. “After Sallu miya disagreement on being single, our Viju went down on knees to propose Malika. They two even gigged on the stage. It was the moment to see the big fat smile on the face of boxer as if his dream has come true,” adds the source.

The two Haryanvis who live an hour away from each other back home, were very comfortable in each other’s company. The good looking Vijender is not just a boxing champ but is also a DSP with Haryana Police.

Apart from the questions pertaining to the show, the contestants have to face Salman and his personal questions too! And, his questions are sometimes so personal and direct that the contestants are left aghast.

One such incident has been reported from the sets of ‘10 Ka Dum’.

Daler Mehendi and his brother Mika were invited on the show and one of the questions put to them was: How many people think Rakhi Sawant can be a good wife?

Mika, who has an ugly history with Rakhi, passed rude comments and made faces. But Salman, who is known stand up for women, bluntly told Mika not to make fun of her. He also said Rakhi has worked very hard to reach this level and that he has tremendous respect for her.

Mika had the cheek to say that he agrees that she has worked hard, but she has become popular only because of him. Salman waved that statement aside and reasserted that she is a hard-working girl and deserves all her success. Finally, when Mika said that Rakhi is his friend, Salman laughed off his comment by saying that Mika is the biggest liar.

Salman Khan is ready to pack a ‘power’ful punch yet again. After making 10 Ka Dum a success the first time around, the Bollywood actor is returning as the host of the Sony TV game show’s second season.

Salman Khan’s 10 Ka Dum season 1, aired last year on Sony Entertainment Television, was a huge hit with the audience. Hoping to cash-in on the popularity of the show and Salman Khan’s star power, Sony has relaunched 10 Ka Dum, promising more entertainment and better questions.

What works for 10 Ka Dum is, the show isn’t very intellectually challenging. Its more of a fun show with loads of entertainment, a host with a good sense of humour and many celebrity guests.

While 10 Ka Dum was a huge hit, Shahrukh Khan’s Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Teez Hai flopped. Most believe it was one of the reasons for the bitter spat that took place between the two Khan’s at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party last year.

Salman Khan was at his humourous best on the sets of his forthcoming TV show 10 Ka Dum as he bonded with his star contestants Karisma Kapur and Kareena Kapoor. Known for his dedication to his fitness regime, Salman had some words of advice for Kareena, who has lost a lot of weight in the past in her bid to flaunt an eye-popping figure.

Bollywood sisters Karisma and Kareena Kapoor will kick off the second season of Salman Khan-hosted quiz show ‘Dus Ka Dum’, which will go on air Saturday on Sony channel.

While Karisma teamed up with Salman in films like ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’, ‘Jeet’, ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jaayenge’ apart from others, Kareena did ‘Kyon Ki…’ with him and their next film together is ‘Mr. & Mrs.Khanna’.
